She combines a high standard of technical ability in the studio with her love of orchestral film music to create new and interesting scores for a diverse range of projects, and constantly strives to give each one its own unique voice.

Her professional experience in numerous genres was recognised in 2016 when she became a member of both BAFTA Crew for Film and Television and BAFTA Crew for Video Games, and she still currently participates in both schemes.

Recent projects have included an orchestral score for feature-length documentary Big Little World by Inkline Films, as well as an orchestral suite for online webcomic series Benefactors by Meridien Grey. Emer graduated first in her class from Trinity College Dublin in 2011 with a BA in Music, specialising in Music Technology.
